The regular and conscious effort for stamina building isn’t required only by sports person or the people in the field, but every single person who has to manage daily hectic lives filled with a lot of pressures, especially mothers who have to keep running the whole day.
Your body fitness and stamina are greatest gifts you can give to yourself and to your family. As a result of modern lifestyle, many people are suffering from poor stamina and ailments like back pain, spondylitis, hormonal disbalance etc.

With any disorder in your body, you cannot enjoy the life to its fullest. It’s one’s own responsibility to stay fit for which you have to put conscious efforts.

By following a specific a routine you can enjoy body fitness, better stamina and maintain balanced body weight. I will share my mantra to stay fit and boost stamina naturally. I’d not recommend taking any food supplements. The natural methods to gain stamina have long-term results.

Willingness & Strategy

While trying to increase physical stamina the first and foremost is to imagine yourself absolutely fit and full of energy. Then give your best to gain and maintain it.

You have to consider and treat yourself the most important person in the universe. Nothing can be precious than a good health and you should not compromise it for anything else. You have the right and capability to enjoy the life to its fullest by being a healthy and a fit person.

Formulate a strategy to align with the healthiest you according to your schedule.

Anyone at any stage of his life with any health condition needs to have a plan to attain and maintain the fitness along with meeting their other priorities, be it studies or work. Our priorities and responsibilities change with different stages of life, but the health should be number one.

Analyse your next couple of months and see what physical activity you can perform on regular basis. Be it walking, running, gyming, swimming or exercising at home.

Equip yourself with simple instruments like skipping rope, yoga mat, weights, hoopla, weighing machine etc to workout whenever you get time.

Set a fixed time and limit to do these activities as per your present stamina and fitness level for next couple of days. Try to make it joyful so that you don’t lose interest. Increase the span and intensity gradually.

If you’re healthy, your world is beautiful
even if your days are hectic.

Conscious Optimism

Being optimistic means having strong mental stamina. Being optimistic is very important to maintain physical stamina. Negative thoughts lead to the loss of energy, these might induce health-related issues and hence decreased physical & mental stamina. So being optimistic makes you stay energetic.

Try to do minimum 5 minutes chant, meditation or any kind of similar activity in the morning to fill you with positive energy for facing the ups & downs of your day.

Congratulations to social media which has turned all of us busy for most of our time. While spending time on social media I recommend following some motivational channels. It’ll be a lifesaver if you could get time to read and listen to the people who can motivate you to keep healthy.

Surround yourself with people who can help you maintain your routine be it your family or friends. Seek help from them, be it their company or any other thing you require.

In the last couple of years, I read some fantastic books which helped me to stay motivated for the regular workout and walks. I understood the significance and practiced keeping health on my first priority.

Healthy Eating Habits

In today’s scenario when most of the people are not able to exert in physical activities, at the same time they are not able to maintain a balanced diet. This happens due to various factors like ignorance, lack of time etc.

One can never relish a healthy body without proper nutrition. I feel very sorry for ignorant people who eat uncontrollably and for the parents who knowingly and unknowingly are inculcating the same habits to their kids.

You are what you eat. If you eat healthily, your body will function properly, otherwise, it will deteriorate. To boost your stamina naturally, it is very important to focus on what you are eating.

It is important to intake essential nutrients in our diet to maintain energy levels, improve the immune system, and developing and repairing muscles and tissues. Eating at the right and regular times makes you eat the food in the right quantity otherwise you tend to eat uncontrollably.

I never miss my breakfast. I should say, I can never afford to miss my breakfast after my morning workout as I feel really hungry. I eat proper lunch and avoid evening snacks. I eat a light dinner and have a glass of milk every day. I eat properly but I never do overeating.

Daily Water intake

Plenty of water intake in your body not only enhance your beauty and maintain weight but has many other good impacts on your body. It keeps our body cells healthy.

In the absence of enough water, our body cells start shrinking which leads to muscles go stiff and wear out. Which further leads to tiredness. So to enhance the stamina you should drink as much water as you can. It helps you keep your muscles relaxed. Healthy homemade fruit juices are also a better option.

I start my day with 3 glasses of lukewarm water. If you don’t have the habit of drinking water early morning, it’ll be difficult initially. Start with one glass and then eventually you may increase the quantity. I drink around 3lt water every day and avoid drinking cold water and cold drinks.

Daily Walks

I manage to walk about 3 to 5kms every day while dropping the kids to school or early morning around 5 am or in the evening. Twice or thrice a month I find the opportunity to go for long walks of about 10 to 12kms.

I’d recommend using some health band like Mi Band to track your activities and progress. You can also install fitness tracking Apps like Google Fit and Runkeeper to track your walks.

Along with the walk, I observe a set of 5-10 body toning exercises every morning. It’ll be great if you can add breathing exercises ‘Yoga’ into your routine as it increases the stamina by strengthening the lungs. It increases our mental alertness and physical strength.

Fun & Play

The life of parents especially mothers revolves around kids. Kids are always full of energy. To match their energy, stamina boosting is a must. You should play with your kids to not only boost stamina but to make your bond stronger with them.

I always look for the opportunities to go for walks and sports activities with my kids which not only help me to keep me healthy but make our relationship strong. You feel like a team.

Similarly, I enjoy a good relationship with other family members by sharing the interest in such activities be it my parents, my husband, and others. I do remember when my parents used to play with us badminton, football, carrom, and many other games. I am sure that was the best part of life.

Adequate Rest

To take rest is equally important as to workout. Adequate sleep is most important. To fix the sleeping hours is very crucial. I am sure if you frequently fail to stick to proper sleeping time you cannot achieve fitness and any other goals. It also helps you avoid illness and laziness.

Your body knows how much rest you need. Be a friend to your body. It communicates with you. You need to understand that. Show your love and care to your body by treating it well. If you become best friends, you can do wonders and no one can stop you to achieve what you aspire in life.

Get time for Music

Music heals our body and mind. Listening to music is very good. Try to get time to sing or play the music of your choice. I am not a good singer but I try to sing my favorite songs along with my kids whenever get time.

I sometimes enjoy playing music on the keyboard. I find this activity as a real energy booster. Everyone knows that dance is the best form of exercise. To learn and participate in any form of dance can really enhance your stamina.

Caution for impatient

When you start working on your stamina, remember it is a slow process. It cannot be achieved overnight. You have to give yourself a good amount of time. With consistent sincere efforts, you’ll be able to achieve the better fitness and strength.

Good health and fitness have always been my priority. I always get inspired and motivated by people who take care of their body and mind by putting conscious effort.

Life isn’t about finding yourself rather creating yourself. You are your greatest asset. Take out time and put some effort to take care of yourselves so that you don’t disappoint your younger self. It’s your own responsibility to gain physical fitness and live a happy & fulfilled life. Awareness, consistent practice, and training is the key to the better stamina of mind and body.

I’ve made a commitment to myself that I’ll not let my body suffer because of my bad habits and routine. I am sure you have or you’ll have your story of stamina building naturally, please feel free to share your thoughts and experience in the comment box below.
