Today the nation gathers to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 149th Anniversary. We received lots of Gandhi Jayanti forwards and memes. I did think of reciprocating, but eventually, junked the idea of adding to the bulk of ‘Forwards’ that were flooding on the internet.

People have created so thoughtful gifs and videos edits and these could collectively bring down the low memory phones. But, there was some food for thought which was triggered by a discussion with kids.

For most of us, it was another holiday. We took it as an opportunity to share the importance of independence with my little one. They prepared a little performance. Here is it, I hope you’ll enjoy it.
